There’s no such thing as flour in Denver. I want to make cookies :(

We’ve made a habit of going to King Soopers first thing Monday mornings to do our shopping, and we've been able to get everything we need. Sure, the pasta shelves are almost empty and so is the flour shelf, but not completely empty. The last time I was there, they had everything except for paper products. The egg case was even full.

Might depend on the part of town. The only place I can find nearby or delivery (keep in mind, I only have a bike) is 7-eleven. I’ve seen a shit-ton o f weirdass gluten free flours at Sprouts but I have no idea how to bake with any of that.

I was out of powder sugar for the icing. I know a party trick from working in a restaurants . 1 cup granulated sugar & 1 tablespoon of corn starch in a blender, then sift it for chunks. That’s how you make icing sugar.

I make my own pasta, finding pasta is not a concern for me.

I’ve heard marvelous stories of restaurants/bakeries selling necessities that they can get easier than we can (a bagel shop in Grand Junction is selling flour at wholesale prices if you buy bagels). Here we can suddenly buy alcohol to go from nearly anywhere, but I can’t seem to find flour or my dog’s food. Priorities, I guess?
